Ray Lewis (Capt. Ret. Philadelphia Police Department)

In the short but powerful life of Occupy Wall Street’s stay at Zuccotti Park in New York City, there was only one policeman who separated himself from the grim wall of blue in that city and that was Ray Lewis in his relationship with protestors. Occupiers revered him for not only standing up for what they had to say, but for his willingness to travel to NYC from Philadelphia to support their cause. The fact that Capt. Lewis was one of their own and still took the OWS side didn’t sit well with the Manhattan cops. Was he a turncoat, or an example of what a police officer should be? Listen to what Ray has to say and make your own determination.
